26 Sep
The Fundació Foment del Turisme de Menorca invites you to commemorate World Tourism Day by attending a historical re-enactment show in the Talayotic site of Torre d'en Galmés. You will witness what daily life was like in this settlement and how the Balearic slingers, expert shepherds in stone throwing who became feared mercenaries, were forged. An archaeologist will guide you throught the different scenes, providing archaeological and historical data, which will make this visit a great opportunity to relive the past in a Talayotic settlement. A very realistic show recreated by the Amics del Museu de Menorca and the Federació Balear de Tir amb Fona.
