The Torrellisar talayotic settlement is in the municipal area of Alaior. Different structures can be distinguished, among them the taula enclosure and two talayots. Both monuments have been altered by modern intervention.

The Torrellisar talayotic settlement is in the municipal area of Alaior. Different structures can be distinguished, among them the taula enclosure and two talayots. Both monuments have been altered by modern intervention.



 
Detailed description

In the talayotic settlement the following structures have been identified:

- Taula enclosure:

Very much altered by modern intervention. For example, the interior wall of small dry stones is from the modern era.

Six pilasters are embedded in the wall. Access is by a slab-roofed corridor. The interior is circular.

- Two talayots, heavily camouflaged by modern constructions.

- Remains of structures scattered over all the archaeological area.

Access from the Alaior to Cala en Porter road. At kilometre 5.5, take the rural path on the right for Cotaina, and 400 metres on, on the left, you will see the site.
